Chinese New Year 2025

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a vibrant and joyous celebration that holds great cultural significance worldwide. In 2025, Chinese New Year begins on 28th January and continues for 15 days, with the Lantern Festival marking the end of the celebrations.

As we enter the Year of the Snake, the Global School Alliance is proud to raise awareness of the rich and diverse Chinese culture and traditions, giving students in schools worldwide access to authentic resources and competitions to explore a global festival.

We have recorded audio clips for our schools and students to have a go reciting on video. We will pick our favourites and award some very exciting prizes!

Register to enter our Chinese New Year competition.

Deadline to enter is 14 February 2025.
