Encouraging students to speak in their target language depends on creating opportunity, motivation and confidence in the classroom. Considering that most students measure their success in learning a new language by their ability to speak it, we are looking at ways we can support students to build confidence at their own pace.

In this webinar, we will look at how we can:

  • Develop an understanding of the importance of the speaking skill in promoting progress in MFL
  • Discuss a range of strategies focusing on speaking as a key part of the curriculum
  • Identify different speaking activities in MFL to support self-confidence and self-efficacy
